Drama Victoria is a non-for profit organisation committed to the promotion of Drama Education and the support and professional development of Drama educators. The Drama Victoria conference is held annually, and this year will take place at The University of Melbourne, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th November. Presenters volunteer their time to contribute workshops to our conference. It is a general expectation that presenters are registered for conference.

REVOLUTION
The Drama Victoria committee of management invites you to consider all that is revolutionary about Drama Education. What changes have occurred in our practice, our pedagogy and our art form? How do we instigate change in how people think, feel and act? How can Drama Education change students, teachers and their communities? What have been the sudden changes in recent times, and what has been the slow evolution of our thinking and practice?
Our conference subthemes are:
Revolving worlds (How do we advocate for sustainability in Drama Education?)
Evolution (How does drama affect change? How has drama evolved?)
Viva la Drama! (What are the new regimes? What is revolutionary in Drama?)
The conference is the showcase event of the Drama Victoria calendar year. The annual event presents fascinating, informative and practically based keynotes, workshops, papers, presentations and performances for drama educators and educators interested in drama P–12 and tertiary.
The session's will:
feature high-quality, innovative teaching and learning opportunities
marshal the power of new technologies
devise activities that appeal to a variety of learning styles
The conference’s key mission is to engage drama teachers in a series of sessions that allow them to directly work with the key themes.
