"Next Stage" is a free drama program for advanced F-12 Victorian students, offering half-day incursions to teach nine essential 21st-century skills, including collaboration, empathy, communication, and leadership. Specially designed for critical thinkers and future leaders, the curriculum-aligned stages foster creative and collaborative abilities. The primary program involves workshops for stages 1 and 2, while the secondary program includes stages 2 and 3. This initiative, however, is exclusively available to Victorian government schools.

21st Century learning prepares students for their future, and arms them with dynamic life skills. It supports students to be critical and creative-thinkers, communicators, and collaborators.
The program is offered to schools in three Stages. Each Stage is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum Capabilities, the Victorian Curriculum Levels and VCE Drama/Theatre Studies.
